My wake-up call and why I’m here to help you…

As a former teacher and school leader, I understand the pressure of managing work, family, and personal well-being. For years, I worked late, skipped meals, and ignored my own health. Eventually, it caught up with me. Despite “hardly eating” due to my hectic schedule, my weight was at an all-time high (and 38% body fat) in November of 2022. I was diagnosed with insulin resistance and told I was at risk of becoming pre-diabetic. My perimenopause symptoms were intensifying and difficult to manage, and I felt drained.

That was my wake-up call. I knew I needed to make lasting changes—most importantly, I wanted to feel energized and confident in my body, not just now but for the next 40 years. Realizing the true cost of neglecting my health—both physically and financially through medical expenses—I made the commitment to change. Over the next year, I was able to transform my body by slowly improving my relationship with food, prioritizing sleep, and increasing my daily movement where I could. My weight dropped by about 22kg (50 lbs) and my body fat was down to a much healthier 27% by November 2023.

This journey led me to become a certified health and fitness coach, specializing in supporting women through the menopause transition and hormone-related conditions. I’m dedicated to helping women like you reclaim your energy, manage symptoms, and feel strong and confident.
